Our People

• The Board of Trustees of Public.Resource.Org presently includes Heather Joseph, Kim Paula Nayyer, Pam Samuelson, Tim Stanley, Alexander Magillivray, and Carl Malamud. Former members of the board include Ed Walters, Dale Dougherty, Marshall T. Rose, and Hal Varian.
• Carl Malamud is the President and Founder of Public.Resource.Org. The author of 9 books, Malamud was previously founder of the Internet Multicasting Service, a nonprofit that started the first radio station on the Internet and was responsible for making the SEC EDGAR database available. He is the recipient of the Berkman Award from Harvard, the Pioneer Award from the EFF, the Bill Farr Award from the First Amendment Coalition, and the Internet Hero award from the Internet Archive.
• Mdkail does our system support, and we'd like to thank the Internet Systems Consortium for their previous hosting and transit and Point.B Studio for previous design efforts. O'Reilly Media was our landlord for 12 years. David Halperin serves as Of Counsel.
