The Seal of Approval
How Do We Do It?

When you buy content, we get the material from the U.S. government and then upload the data to places like the Internet Archive, Google Video, and other fine content sources. Because this data is public domain, anybody can use the material without restriction!

You Get Naming Rights, Too!

When you purchase, just fill in a “tag line.” When we upload the data throughout the entire Internets, we spritz the phrase in the comments or rights fields—let your phrase live in the digital lights forever!

Tax Deductions!

Public.Resource.Org is a new non-profit corporation. We've applied for a 501(c)(3) accreditation from the IRS and if we get it, you'll get a nice tax deduction for your contribution to the public domain.

Moral Satisfaction!

There is no copyright in government-produced works. You'll have the satisfaction of knowing that you'll be paying for content that you already paid for, but YOU might be the last person to purchase this item!
