don't you have access to a copy and email the scan device?  i know we  
had one when I was at mit, and that was a while back.  fedex kinkos  
may have that as a self-service thing as well.  I do two things: I use  
an all-in-one office copies at o'reilly for small/medium runs and for  
bigger ones (5k pages and up) I have a service bureau that does them  
for $0.08/page.
